Homeschool curriculum choices have come along way! I consider myself a bit of a homeschool curriculum junky. This is our 9th year homeschooling and my last year of preschool! I can’t believe my baby is ready for school. A couple years ago we made the switch to primarily to BJU curriculum. I choose this because I started thinking of my homeschool goals longer term. I want to know what highschool transcripts would look like. What if one of my kids want to try for a NCAA athletics scholarship or team? You have to start in 8th grade for that.
I already was using some BJU curriculum and really liked it. I was aware there was online lectures and even an Academy. I wanted to start them early on so them maintained the smae scope and sequence. We made the switch and began my older kids on the online with books and lectures. I love it and they do as well. So when I chose this years preschool it only made sense to start him with Pathways for Preschool by BJU.
