Hey, I’m Bethany! The woman behind Wild & Gathered, where the outdoors meets home.

I’m an Oklahoma-raised hunter, outdoor writer, military wife, and homeschooling mom of five, currently calling South Georgia home. My life is a blend of early mornings in the woods, afternoons at the shooting range, adventures with my family, and the beautiful chaos of raising five kids.

With more than 200 published articles and years of experience in the outdoor industry, I’ve had the opportunity to turn my passion for the outdoors into a career in writing, storytelling, and content creation. From hunting adventures and firearms reviews to sharing the experiences of women in the outdoors, I believe the best stories are the ones rooted in real life.

But there’s more to my story than hunting and writing. My faith, marriage, and family are at the heart of everything I do. Whether we’re exploring a new duty station, learning around the homeschool table, preparing wild game in the kitchen, or passing down outdoor traditions to our children, I believe there’s something meaningful to be found in every season of life.

Wild & Gathered is where all those pieces come together. It’s a place for authentic stories, honest gear reviews, practical advice, and a little encouragement along the way.

I’m passionate about helping more women find their place in the outdoors and raising the next generation to appreciate the skills, traditions, and experiences that make our outdoor heritage worth preserving.
